Our not-for-profit agency is only as good as the people who invest in our mission! United Cancer has many way that you can volunteer your time to help!
Callingggg Allll Sponorssss – Do you know an organization that wants to reach 2,000 event attendees each year and over 11,000 households, or are you just plain a “go getter” and willing to pitch in? When people hear about the good work that United Cancer does, they are usually very willing to help. Will you help us reach out to the leaders of our Elkhart County communities?
Events Planning Committee – Are you a great organizer or do you have time to do some of the “leg work”? United Cancer has several events throughout the year and we need your help! Check out our events page for the complete list and give us a call.
Cyber Skills – Networking through the internet is not “the wave of the future”, it is now! Can you help set up a United Cancer profile on networking pages like My Space, Facebook, eTruth, etc.? Cancer patients come to us everyday for help, and so we are always looking for new ways to reach new donors. Call us…no I bet you want to email.
Stuff that Envelope! – UC does three large mailings each year and several smaller ones supporting our events. Do you have a couple of hours to stuff that envelope?
Cancer Patient Support – The core of our mission requires just the right person. We will want to get to know you, check your references and do a background check. But if you have what it takes to help a neighbor through cancer treatment, this process won’t bother you at all.
